Job Description
Candidate will be part of the IT GFS Service Operations Excellence Team in the IT Hub Manila. The team delivers system operations services, incident and problem management, and fulfillment of service requests, among others. The candidate will be responsible for supporting several systems/applications and performing the standard operational tasks to keep the system in compliance with client's standards
- Compliance and documentation
- Coordinating and scheduling backup/recovery
- Performing disaster recovery and testing
- Service level agreement monitoring
- Access and Identity monitoring
- Coordinating (but not performing) server and database patches
- Audit trail monitoring
- Small enhancements/configuration changes to software
- Coordinating software management
- Interfacing/coordinate with multiple areas of the business and IT (functional areas and infrastructure)
- Collecting and processing demands from business users
- Performing incident, change and problem management
- Working with IT infrastructure to remediate replace, migrate or decommission legacy systems or infrastructure items
- Decommissioning (retiring) systems
- Coordinating archiving system
Job Requirements
Details:
- Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or comparable professional experience
- Proficiency in using MS Office tools
- Good communication, teamwork and collaboration skills
- Well-organized and good attention to details
- Fluent in English
- ITIL v 3 or higher (a plus)
- Shift flexibility and schedule adherence are required for the position.
