Role Purpose
The Systems & Operations Analyst acts as the primary architect for ThinkPac's operational efficiency. Unlike a traditional assistant, this role is responsible for owning the integrity of company systems, designing automated workflows, and translating complex inventory data into actionable business strategy. You will be the Systems Champion, moving beyond task execution to independent system management and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities
1. Systems Architecture & Workflow Development
- Process Mapping: Analyze, design, and document as-is and to-be workflows to eliminate manual bottlenecks.
- SOP Creation: Build and maintain a comprehensive library of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all system-related tasks.
- Automation Initiatives: Research and implement software tools and integrations to automate repetitive data tasks.
- System Troubleshooting: Act as the internal point of contact for system queries, providing training and support to the broader team.
2. Analytical Purchasing & Supply Chain Management
- WMS Ownership: Manage end-to-end purchasing and inventory cycles specifically within Fishbowl WMS or similar platforms.
- Strategic Sourcing: Research new products and suppliers, maintaining detailed records of certifications and performance.
- Inventory Control: Monitor container movements and track stock levels to ensure 100% availability while minimizing holding costs.
- Cost Verification: Oversee purchase orders and verify costs against budget to maintain financial accuracy.
3. Data Operations & Executive Insights
- Reporting: Generate and interpret inventory valuation, supplier performance, and slow-moving stock reports.
- Actionable Insights: Use numerical affinity to provide the Managing Director with data-driven recommendations rather than just raw numbers.
- Project Management: Lead special technical projects and provide executive-level support for data-heavy initiatives.
