System Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Monitoring and Administration

• Perform daily monitoring of vessel systems, and related system data transfers.
• Monitor and maintain database backup processes to ensure data integrity and system availability.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

• Provide first-line and second-line technical support for onboard and office users.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve systems issues related to fleet systems.
• Deliver remote support to vessels through TeamViewer, Microsoft Teams, telephone, or other approved communication tools.

Software Installation and Configuration

• Install, configure, test, and upgrade fleet applications.

Training and User Adoption

• Conduct system training sessions for seafarers and office staff.

Additional Responsibilities

• Participate in ad hoc projects and business initiatives as directed.
• Perform other duties consistent with the position and business requirements as assigned by management.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT user support, application support, or systems support roles.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both office-based and vessel personnel.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with maritime software applications is an advantage.
• Experience delivering training and technical support to remote users.
