Position Overview
Our client is looking for a strategic and highly skilled
System Configuration Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of their enterprise resource planning (ERP) environment. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing system setup activities across multiple functional areas, ensuring that all technical changes align with organizational standards and governance protocols. You will serve as a bridge between business requirements and technical execution, leading a team to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Guide and mentor a team of configuration architects, overseeing their professional development and daily activities to foster high performance.
- System Governance & Standards: Enforce strict adherence to change management processes, configuration benchmarks, and internal governance rules.
- Architectural Oversight: Conduct thorough impact analyses and risk assessments for proposed system modifications to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Documentation Management: Manage the creation and maintenance of high-quality technical specifications, configuration guides, and comprehensive test scripts.
- Integration & Connectivity: Supervise the health of system integrations and touchpoint reviews to prevent disruptions in data flow across upstream and downstream platforms.
- Lifecycle Support: Facilitate major system upgrades and releases, directing regression testing and the rollout of new features.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with business leaders to convert organizational needs into robust, scalable configuration strategies.
- Technical Problem Solving: Lead the investigation and resolution of complex configuration issues in coordination with technical support teams.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee metrics related to quality control, defect rates, and delivery throughput to mitigate readiness risks.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in ERP (Workday) system configuration, specifically within Finance, HR, or Supply Chain modules.
- Leadership Background: A minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role, leading functional workstreams or technical configuration teams.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in ERP configuration and functional design is essential.
Preferred Skills & Systems
- Secondary Systems: Familiarity with one or more of the following platforms is highly desirable: ServiceNow, UKG, BlackLine, Adaptive Planning, OnBase, Oracle, UiPath, or PowerBI.
- Core Competencies:
