System and Network Administrator || Onsite role

Job Role:

1. Client Network Management: Implement, maintain, and troubleshoot network solutions for clients, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems. Ensure optimal performance and security of client networks.

2. Server and Systems Administration: Manage and support client servers (Windows and Linux), including system installations, updates, and maintenance. Troubleshoot server-related issues and optimize system performance.

3. Cloud Administration: Manage and support M365 Administration including licensing, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Azure, Identity, and Purview.

4. Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM): Utilize RMM tools to proactively monitor client environments, identify potential issues, and perform routine maintenance tasks.

5. Security and Compliance: Implement and manage security measures to protect client data and infrastructure. Ensure compliance with industry standards and client-specific security policies.

6. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Manage and monitor backup solutions for clients. Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.

7. Client Support and Communication: Provide high-level technical support to clients. Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.

8. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of client networks, systems, and processes. Prepare regular reports for both internal and client review.

9. Vendor Management: Work with hardware and software vendors to resolve issues and manage warranties/service agreements.

10. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends to recommend improvements and enhancements to clients IT environments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system and network administration, preferably in an MSP or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS), Windows Server environments, and Linux systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS) is advantageous.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, CompTIA Network+) are highly desirable.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
