Job Description
Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.
Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that contribute to the overall quality of software applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that testing processes are efficient and effective. You will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, identifying defects, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Your role will also include participating in discussions to provide insights and solutions to enhance the testing process and application quality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software quality.
Identify, document, and track defects through the testing lifecycle.
Collaborate with development teams to understand application functionality and design effective test cases.
Participate in code reviews to provide feedback on quality and testing practices.
Support continuous improvement activities by analyzing testing processes and suggesting enhancements.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Functional Test Planning.
Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Swedish Translation.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience in creating automated test scripts and frameworks.
Proficient in using testing tools and software for defect tracking and test management.
Ability to analyze requirements and design test cases that cover all aspects of functionality.
Additional Information:
The candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience in Functional Test Planning.
