  • Manage the preparation, calculation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the Group's Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 GHG emissions inventories in accordance with the GHG Protocol and approved methodologies.
  • Coordinate emissions data collection, perform validation and reconciliation, investigate discrepancies, and follow up with relevant data owners.
  • Maintain emissions datasets, calculation workbooks, supporting evidence, emission factors and methodological documentation to ensure data traceability and reporting readiness.
  • Analyse emissions trends, identify data-quality issues and recommend practical improvements to calculation methodologies and reporting processes.

2. Scope 3 & Net Zero Initiatives

  • Calculate and maintain relevant Scope 3 emissions inventories using available financial, procurement, supplier and activity data.
  • Identify opportunities to improve Scope 3 data quality, category coverage and emissions calculations, working with Procurement and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of the Group's Net Zero Roadmap, Climate Transition Action Plan (CTAP) and related emissions-reduction initiatives.
  • Analyse emissions trends, projections and potential decarbonization opportunities, preparing recommendations to inform sustainability planning and implementation.

3. Sustainability Reporting & Assurance

  • Coordinate assigned sustainability reporting activities, including data requests, reporting schedules, stakeholder follow-ups and consolidation of information.
  • Prepare emissions analysis, management reporting and supporting information for applicable sustainability and climate-related disclosures, including AASB S2 / ASRS 2.
  • Maintain appropriate supporting evidence and coordinate information requests for internal reviews, external consultants and assurance providers.
  • Track reporting issues, outstanding information and corrective actions, escalating material matters to the Sustainability Manager.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Broader ESG Support

  • Coordinate with Finance, Procurement, Operations, Legal and other relevant stakeholders to obtain information, resolve issues and deliver assigned outcomes.
  • Communicate requirements and deadlines clearly, proactively follow up on outstanding actions and maintain visibility over deliverables and reporting risks.
  • Support broader Sustainability Team initiatives, including responsible procurement, supplier sustainability assessments, modern slavery, ESG risk, climate risk and sustainability governance.
  • Undertake sustainability-related research, prepare analytical outputs and contribute to the development of reporting tools, dashboards, procedures and guidance materials.
  • Take on other reasonable sustainability-related tasks and project assignments allocated by the Sustainability Manager in line with business priorities and available capacity.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Accounting, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 3–5 years of relevant experience in carbon accounting, sustainability reporting, environmental data analysis or related fields.
  • Working knowledge of the GHG Protocol, including Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions calculation principles.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with structured datasets, emissions calculations and supporting documentation.
  • Familiarity with Net Zero planning, decarbonisation initiatives and sustainability reporting frameworks, including AASB S2 / ASRS 2, is desirable.
  • Understanding of financial and procurement data and their application to carbon accounting is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to coordinate stakeholders and explain technical findings clearly.
