About the Role
We are seeking a Sustainability & Energy Modelling Consultant to join our team. In this remote role, you will use advanced simulation tools to analyze building performance, ensure code compliance, and provide data-driven sustainable design strategies for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Energy Modelling: Perform thermal and energy simulation analyses using IES VE, Camel, or equivalent software.
- Compliance & Ratings: Apply knowledge of Australian building codes (NCC Section J, NABERS, Green Star) to project designs.
- Analysis & Reporting: Interpret modelling results and prepare clear technical reports and recommendations.
- Collaboration: Work with multidisciplinary teams and maintain professional communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Education: Degree in Mechanical, Environmental, or Sustainability Engineering (or related field).
- Experience: 5 years in building performance analysis within a consultancy environment.
- Software: Proficiency in IES VE or similar energy modelling tools.
- Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving, high attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Communication: Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
Desirable
- Understanding of HVAC design principles and heat load analysis.
- Experience with Revit and Bluebeam.
