Job Description

The Survey Engineer is responsible for conducting site surveys, verifying measurements, and preparing accurate survey data to support planning, design, and construction activities. This role ensures proper site layout, alignment, and compliance with project requirements through coordination with engineering, design, and construction teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Pre-Construction Surveys

  • Conduct topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys to document site conditions.
  • Establish property lines, elevations, and project control points.
  • Assist in lot subdivision and site preparation surveys.

Construction Layout and Verification

  • Perform site layout and staking for roads, utilities, and structures based on engineering plans.
  • Verify elevations, grades, and coordinates to ensure proper construction alignment.
  • Conduct periodic surveys to monitor progress and detect discrepancies.

Data Processing and Reporting

  • Prepare survey plans, contour maps, profiles, and related reports.
  • Document and report site deviations, measurements, and survey records.
  • Maintain accuracy and calibration of survey instruments and benchmarks.

Coordination

  • Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, project managers, and regulatory agencies to support project execution and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC Registered).
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in surveying, land development, or construction projects.
  • Proficient in surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Automatic Level).
  • Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related software.
  • Familiar with Philippine surveying standards, coordinate systems, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Must be willing to be assigned in Lian, Batangas.
