Manila

The Surveillance Department within our Risk Management Group provides business surveillance to Macquarie's operating businesses and support groups. Our team are responsible for reviewing staff electronic communications for compliance with the firm's regulatory, legal and compliance requirements.

What role will you play

You will be responsible for reviewing the electronic and voice communications of Macquarie staff to identify and escalate potential issues around information handling, market conduct and personal conduct. You will contribute to e-communications related projects, including lexicon analysis, voice recording initiatives and the development of scenario-based searches used to identify suspicious communications and liaise with stakeholders to ensure identified issues are appropriately addressed and resolved.

What You Offer

  • Familiarity with the role of surveillance within the banking and financial services industry
  • Strong attention to detail with relevant experience working with technology-based solutions
  • Display good judgment and possess strong analytical, investigative and research skills
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to interpret complex verbal information, with strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie's material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
