Summary: The Support Assistant will work under the direction of a Support Specialist, providing administrative and client support with a focus on mortgage and insurance processes. The role involves managing CRM updates, handling bank follow-ups, and assisting in high-volume tasks to ensure smooth operations and strong client engagement.
About the Job
Key Duties:
- Conduct outbound calls to engage clients, set appointments, and identify potential opportunities through proactive conversations and relationship-building.
- Execute high-volume administrative tasks efficiently while adhering to multiple support processes and compliance guidelines.
- Provide end-to-end application support, including managing bank follow-ups, assisting with loan renewals, and handling client email communications.
- Manage and update CRM systems by maintaining client profiles, tracking opportunities, assigning compliance evidence, and updating product information.
- Compile, organize, and report data for performance metrics and commission tracking related to won opportunities.
Skills and Experience
Essential Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and CRM platforms
- Skilled in data entry, database management, and maintaining accurate records
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in high-volume, fast-paced settings
- Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset
- Strong customer service orientation and professional client engagement skills
- Collaborative team player with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and support specialists
- Understanding of outbound sales processes, with the capacity to make 200+ calls per week
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Solid background in mortgages and insurance, with a preference for experience in Australian financial institutions
- Proven experience in a support or administrative role, ideally within customer service or sales environments
