About The Role
Location: Ermita, Manila (near SM Manila)
Role Type: Full-time Onsite
Department: Supply Chain Planning and Operations
Reporting to: Demand Planning Manager
Work Schedule: Compressed 5-day work week
The
Team Leader for Supply Planning is responsible for managing the Supply Planning team to ensure optimal inventory level and all goods are flowing efficiently within the supply chain network.
- Effectively manages individuals/teams to optimize their productivity and engagement which includes work planning, performance management, development and coaching, and team culture management.
- Ensures a smooth flow of goods within the supply chain network from supply planning, ordering, and distribution to branches. Reviews and escalates mitigation plans on identified risks and other disruptions.
- Aligns decisions and actions to the overall supply planning team goals.
- Facilitates collaborative planning to arrive at optimal inventory level, resolve issues or conflicts arising in the process, and address gaps between Demand and Supply Planning.
- Continuously looks for opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the supply planning process.
To succeed and grow in this role, you will be required to meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or any other equivalent courses
- At least three years of relevant leadership experience in any supply chain function
- Intermediate knowledge in Demand Planning Processes to implement operational activities
- Business acumen and leadership skills
