Supply Chain Specialist

Bangkal, Makati City Head Office

Hybrid (1 day WFH)

Role Description

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the effective and timely procurement of goods and services, purchases of materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies and services needed for the efficient operation and maintenance of various DMCI Power Plants taking responsibility in obtaining competitive price and quality products and services. Work is usually performed under general supervision and requires the use of independent judgment and initiative while continuing to work within the defined Company's procurement policies and procedures.

Vendor Accreditation

Able to source and accredit suppliers and subcontractors based on company standard requirement for Supplier Accreditation.

Commercial Evaluation

Able to shortlist suppliers and subcon for different requirements of the project (e.g., technical specifications, shop drawings, catalogues, references);

Able to interpret specifications of items and work being requested;

Business Enterprise

Able to network with other affiliated procurement department group and share information on suppliers/subcontractors capability, sources and best practices.

Purchase Order (PO), Work Order (WO) and Supply Agreement (SA) Management

Able to ensure quality performance from suppliers;

Able to recommend possible improvement on terms of payment, prices, delivery schedule terms and conditions relative to the requirement of site.

Sub-Contractor Management

Able to network with responsible subcons who will undertake and achieve the timely completion of the subcontracted works of the company.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, and Operations Management
  • At least three (3) years experience in procurement process.
  • Proficiency in Analytical Skills to interpret data and optimize processes
  • Effective Communication skills for collaborating with suppliers, teams, and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities seamlessly
  • Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools is an advantage
  • Previous experience in supply chain or logistics role is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Commitment to maintaining accuracy and operational excellence
