Our client, a leading global organization in the FMCG sector, is seeking a
Supply Chain & Customer Service Specialist. This role is critical to managing end-to-end Global Business Services (GBS) operations for finished, semi-finished, and raw materials. Acting as a central liaison between factories, suppliers, and logistics partners, the specialist ensures operational excellence through accurate system management, proactive stakeholder coordination, and seamless execution of global shipments.
Key Responsibilities
Order Management & Portfolio Governance
- Transaction Execution: Process and validate Sales and Purchase Orders within the ERP system, ensuring 100% accuracy in order execution to maintain a continuous supply chain.
- Master Data Maintenance: Oversee the lifecycle of customer and material master data, including the management of portfolio phase-in/phase-out activities and system pricing updates.
- Demand Alignment: Monitor and ensure that all system transactions reflect accurate demand changes in coordination with global market needs.
Logistics & Shipment Operations
- End-to-End Shipment Management: Manage the full shipment lifecycle, utilizing transportation modules to track deliveries and ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) arrivals at final destinations.
- Trade Documentation: Prepare and manage comprehensive SAP and non-SAP documentation (e.g., invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs docs) in strict compliance with legal and market-specific requirements.
Financial & Commercial Support
- Procure-to-Pay Oversight: Execute service PO creation, goods receipt (GR) postings, and resolve invoice discrepancies to ensure smooth GR/IR clearing.
- Month-End Coordination: Collaborate closely with Finance teams to support AP/AR reconciliations and month/quarter/year-end closing activities.
Compliance & Business Continuity
- Risk Mitigation: Support business continuity through robust backup procedures and swift responses to regulatory or operational changes.
- Internal Controls: Contribute to the execution of internal controls (e.g., J-SOX) and provide necessary documentation for audit requirements.
- Strategic Projects: Support people management initiatives where applicable and participate in cross-functional supply chain optimization projects.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related 4-year technical field.
- Professional Tenure: 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain and Customer Service within a multinational environment.
- Specialized Background: Must have at least 12 months of experience at the Associate level within a similar Supply Chain or Logistics capacity.
Technical & Functional Skills
- System Expertise: High proficiency in SAP HANA or other advanced ERP systems is essential.
- Logistics Acumen: Solid knowledge of international logistics, transportation modules, and trade compliance.
- Software Proficiency: Competent in MS Office applications, particularly for data analysis and reporting.
- Language Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
