I. Job Summary
The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of supply chain activities to ensure smooth material flow, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency. This role serves as bridge between strategic planning and day-to-day operations by providing support in areas such as demand planning, procurement coordination, inventory management, logistics operations and continuous improvement.
II. Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of supply chain plans, including demand forecasting, material requirements planning, supply planning, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with production and operations team to align production schedules and supply availability to meet customer and operational demands.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as deliveries, dispatches, loading and unloading rates, inventory levels, and service performance to ensure timely availability of materials, etc.
- Provide operational support in outbound logistics, warehouse activities, and transportation planning.
- Identify, analyze, and help resolve supply chain bottlenecks, delays, and operational disruptions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards on key supply chain metrics such as inventory turnover, order fulfillment, material availability.
- Maintain accurate data in ERP systems related to planning, inventory, and logistics operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost savings, lead time reduction, and service level improvement.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of planning and execution activities.
III. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in supply chain planning, inventory management or logistics support preferred.
- Open for fresh graduates
- Proficient in Microsoft excel
- Knowledge of Power BI and other data visualization tools is an advantage
