Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager oversees the end-to-end supply chain operations of YOBO International Food Corp., ensuring the timely availability, quality, and cost-efficiency of ingredients, products, packaging, and operational supplies across all branches.
The role is responsible for demand planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, logistics, and supplier management, working closely with Sales and Operations to ensure uninterrupted store operations and optimal inventory levels.
Key ResponsibilitiesA. Demand Planning & Inventory Management
- Develop demand forecasts based on sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and store requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, stock movement, stockouts, overstock, and product expiry.
- Establish appropriate stock levels and replenishment requirements.
- Ensure accurate inventory records, FIFO/FEFO, stock rotation, and inventory controls.
- Minimize wastage, spoilage, and inventory losses.
- Manage procurement of ingredients, packaging, supplies, and operational requirements.
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, and reliability.
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, and pricing issues.
- Maintain alternative suppliers to minimize supply disruptions.
- Oversee warehouse receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, and product handling.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies to all branches.
- Monitor logistics performance, delivery schedules, and transportation costs.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of food and perishable products.
- Monitor procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics costs.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Track KPIs including stock availability, inventory accuracy, wastage, supplier performance, and delivery efficiency.
- Prepare supply chain reports and recommendations for management.
- Partner with Sales and Operations to align supply availability with sales forecasts and store requirements.
- Support promotions, new product launches, and new store openings.
- Ensure supply chain readiness for business expansion.
- Implement process improvements, controls, and standardized procedures.
- Lead and develop procurement, warehouse, inventory, and logistics teams.
- Set performance expectations and ensure accountability.
- Drive a culture of efficiency, accuracy, cost control, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Inventory, or Warehouse Management.
- Preferably with experience in F&B, QSR, food retail, franchise, or high-volume retail operations.
- Experience managing supply chain operations supporting multiple branches or locations.
- Strong background in demand planning, procurement, supplier management, inventory control, warehousing, and distribution.
- Experience handling food, perishable products, ingredients, and packaging materials is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Excel and inventory/supply chain systems.
