Job Description

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributor,s and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectivene,ss and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manages and coordinates supply chain strategies to meet internal and external customers expectations
  • Provides a forecast for raw materials as well as finished goods
  • Determines the strategy to comply with demand STS
  • Establishes the strategy to reduce past due orders
  • Coordinates the annual fiscal inventory
  • Manages the billing information and its strategy
  • Assures compliance with departmental procedures
  • Govern planning practices and communication tools, and ensure compliance according to the quality system requirements
  • Complies with and contributes to the achievement of EHS indicators
  • Manages the material productivity metric
  • Assures the supply of raw material
  • Contributes to a collaborative environment and teamwork
  • Develops a strategy to manage and develop the procurement personnel to ensure optimum efficiency
  • Develops the strategy to ensure compliance with the standard corporate cost guidelines
  • Prepare an annual Budget for raw material standard cost, PPV projection, and expense
  • Develops strategy in conjunction with Supplier Quality for supplier development and monitors the continuous performance for the supplier base to be in compliance with TE quality system, other US regulation and SOX requirements
  • Monitor and report the purchasing quarterly results through the Global Sourcing Scorecard
  • Complies with and contributes to the achievement of EHS indicators
  • In addition to those required by the department's needs and/or assigned by the Supervisor

Qualifications

  • +15 years of experience in Supply chain roles preferably operational and functional track records
  • +8 years in Leadership, driving cross-cultural teams
  • Excellent English, both verbal and written
  • Experience using SAP, IBP, or equivalent planning tools is a must
  • Supply planning experience, preferably within an environment recognized for S&OP maturity
  • High proficiency in Material Management (Demand / Supply Planning; S&OP; Customer Experience; Manufacturing Planning)
  • Highly customer-centric oriented
  • Strong Analytical & continuous improvements Skills (problem solver), as well asa good understanding of data analytics capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with various levels of the organization.
  • Strong people & organizational leadership skills: Reliable; Change agent; People-oriented; Approachable, Great team player
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, both in 1-to-1 situations and group settings
  • Ability to prioritize very well and maintain an appropriate balance in a fast-paced, heavy-workload environment
  • Ability to influence and convince (Strategic), Proven strategic and operational thinking skills
