The Supply Chain Manager will lead the end-to-end supply chain operations of Rose Pharmacy, ensuring optimal product availability, efficient distribution, and cost-effective inventory management. This role oversees demand forecasting, procurement coordination, warehouse operations, logistics, and replenishment across retail outlets. The ideal candidate will balance service level excellence with operational efficiency to support business growth and profitability.
Demand Planning & Forecasting
Develop and implement demand forecasting models to ensure accurate product availability across all retail locations.
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Merchandising, and Sales teams to incorporate market trends, promotions, and seasonality into demand plans.
Analyze historical data and consumption patterns to anticipate changes in demand for pharma and non-pharma products.
Monitor forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Inventory Management
Design and enforce optimal inventory strategies to maintain the right balance between product availability and working capital efficiency.
Establish inventory targets, reorder levels, and safety stock parameters based on product category, turnover rate, and store demand.
Oversee replenishment processes and ensure alignment with demand forecasts and supplier lead times.
Distribution Center (DC) Operations
Manage the operations of the central distribution center, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for all Rose Pharmacy branches.
Drive efficiency in receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch operations.
Ensure compliance with Good Distribution Practices (GDP) and pharmaceutical handling standards.
Optimize warehouse layout, capacity utilization, and automation opportunities.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for service level, inventory turnover, stock-out rate, and logistics cost.
Lead root cause analysis for supply chain disruptions and drive corrective actions.
Leverage technology (ERP/WMS/BI tools) to improve data accuracy, reporting, and decision-making.
Leadership & Team Management
Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing supply chain team across planning, warehouse, and logistics functions.
Foster a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
510 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in pharmacy retail, FMCG, or healthcare distribution.
Strong understanding of pharmaceutical supply chain regulations, cold chain management, and product traceability.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and WMS platforms.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
