Job Description

Key Responsibilities

1. Demand Planning & Inventory Management

  • Oversee demand forecasting in coordination with Sales and Marketing
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing expiries and obsolescence
  • Monitor slow-moving and near-expiry stocks
  • Maintain target service levels (OTIF)

2. Procurement & Principal Coordination

  • Coordinate with local and international principals for replenishment
  • Monitor lead times and ensure timely purchase order processing
  • Manage importation timelines and documentation (if applicable)

3. Warehousing & Distribution

  • Ensure warehouse operations comply with GDP standards
  • Ensure proper batch tracking and FEFO implementation
  • Monitor 3PL performance
  • Ensure accurate and timely nationwide distribution

4. Performance Management & Reporting

  • Monitor supply chain KPIs:
  • Inventory turnover
  • Service level (OTIF)
  • Expiry rate
  • Forecast accuracy
  • Warehouse accuracy
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives
  • Manage supply chain budget and cost control

5. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Lead warehouse, planning, and logistics teams
  • Work closely with Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and QA
  • Develop succession planning and team capability

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • MBA is an advantage

Experience

  • 710 years supply chain experience
  • At least 35 years in a leadership role
  • Experience in pharmaceutical distribution is required
  • Strong background in GDP compliance and FDA regulatory requirements
  • ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)

Technical Knowledge

  • Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
  • FDA regulatory requirements (Philippines FDA, if local)
  • FEFO inventory system
  • Product recall process
  • Importation process (if applicable)
