Key Responsibilities
1. Demand Planning & Inventory Management
- Oversee demand forecasting in coordination with Sales and Marketing
- Ensure optimal inventory levels while minimizing expiries and obsolescence
- Monitor slow-moving and near-expiry stocks
- Maintain target service levels (OTIF)
2. Procurement & Principal Coordination
- Coordinate with local and international principals for replenishment
- Monitor lead times and ensure timely purchase order processing
- Manage importation timelines and documentation (if applicable)
3. Warehousing & Distribution
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with GDP standards
- Ensure proper batch tracking and FEFO implementation
- Monitor 3PL performance
- Ensure accurate and timely nationwide distribution
4. Performance Management & Reporting
- Monitor supply chain KPIs:
- Inventory turnover
- Service level (OTIF)
- Expiry rate
- Forecast accuracy
- Warehouse accuracy
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage supply chain budget and cost control
5. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead warehouse, planning, and logistics teams
- Work closely with Sales, Regulatory Affairs, Finance, and QA
- Develop succession planning and team capability
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- MBA is an advantage
Experience
- 710 years supply chain experience
- At least 35 years in a leadership role
- Experience in pharmaceutical distribution is required
- Strong background in GDP compliance and FDA regulatory requirements
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
Technical Knowledge
- Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
- FDA regulatory requirements (Philippines FDA, if local)
- FEFO inventory system
- Product recall process
- Importation process (if applicable)
