Supply Chain Lead

About the Job

We are seeking an accomplished Supply Chain Division Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations for a leading healthcare manufacturing organization in Laguna.

The role will focus on procurement, purchasing, warehouse operations, inventory and materials management, supplier management, strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and supply chain planning, working closely with Operations, Materials Planning, Finance, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Supply Chain & Procurement Leadership

• Lead and manage the overall Supply Chain Division, including Purchasing and Warehouse operations.
• Oversee procurement activities, purchase orders, supplier deliveries, inventory, and materials availability.
• Ensure purchasing activities are aligned with MRP and materials requirements.
• Monitor supplier deliveries and proactively address potential material shortages or delays.
• Work closely with Materials Planning and suppliers to meet business requirements.
• Oversee local and international procurement activities.

Supplier Management & Strategic Sourcing

• Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers.
• Lead supplier negotiations covering pricing, delivery, lead times, payment terms, and MOQs.
• Conduct supplier business reviews and monitor supplier performance.
• Develop alternate sourcing strategies to ensure supply continuity.
• Drive supplier productivity, value engineering, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Conduct supplier benchmarking, audits, and market intelligence activities.

Inventory & Materials Management

• Oversee inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Partner with Materials Planning and Operations to optimize supply and prevent excess inventory.
• Monitor procurement and warehouse performance.
• Drive improvements in purchasing, delivery monitoring, receiving, and inventory processes.
• Ensure proper handling of imported materials and delivery requirements.

Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization

• Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
• Drive improvements in procurement processes, supplier performance, lead times, and inventory efficiency.
• Analyze supply chain performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead the team in achieving agreed service and performance standards.

Candidate Profile

• 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Purchasing, Warehouse, Materials Management, Production, or related functions.
• Strong experience in manufacturing environments, preferably pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, or other regulated industries.
• Proven leadership experience managing Purchasing, Warehouse, or broader Supply Chain functions.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory management, materials planning, and warehouse operations.
• Advanced experience with SAP/MRP, computerized procurement, warehousing, and inventory systems.
• Strong supplier management and negotiation experience.
• Experience handling local and international procurement, including imported materials and finished goods.
• Knowledge of supplier performance management, alternate sourcing, cost reduction, and value engineering.
• Familiarity with government regulations covering procurement of local and imported goods.
• Strong understanding of GMP/manufacturing policies and requirements.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and people leadership skills.
