The Supply Chain Director will lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations in the Philippines, covering procurement, import & export, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, demand planning, and customer service. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable supply, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and alignment with Bostik's global supply chain strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Leadership & Strategy
- Implement and execute Bostik's global purchasing and supply chain strategy at the local level.
- Ensure a robust, reliable, and efficient supply chain, balancing service level, inventory health, and cost discipline.
- Oversee both trade and non‑trade supply, including finished goods sourced from sister companies.
Procurement & Sourcing
- Define and drive sourcing strategies to ensure quality, supply security, and competitive cost structures.
- Develop, evaluate, and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers.
- Ensure purchasing performance monitoring through accurate and timely pricing traceability and procurement data.
Inventory, Warehousing & Planning
- Lead inventory management across manufacturing plants, warehouses, and toll manufacturers.
- Ensure effective materials requirement planning and demand forecasting.
- Maintain accurate and timely data across ERP systems covering inventory, freight, orders, and production planning.
- Ensure safe, organized, and compliant storage and movement of raw materials and finished goods.
Logistics & Cost Optimization
- Manage logistics, transportation, and warehouse operations to ensure on‑time delivery and product quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize logistics and warehousing costs.
- Approve quality inspection outcomes for imported and trade products.
Import, Export & Compliance
- Oversee all import and export operations, ensuring full compliance with laws and regulations.
- Coordinate closely with customs authorities, logistics providers, customers, and internal teams to ensure timely clearances and deliveries.
People Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi‑disciplinary supply chain team across logistics, procurement, planning, and customer service.
- Design and implement training and capability‑building programs to strengthen technical know‑how and engagement.
- Promote a culture focused on safety (HSE), quality, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in supply chain management.
- Proven experience working with ERP systems, preferably in a complex operational environment.
- Strong exposure to procurement, logistics, inventory management, and import/export operations.
Skills & Competencies
- Solid understanding of supply chain operations, ideally within a manufacturing or chemical industry environment.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
