Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Supply Chain Assistant to manage the flow of goods, services, and information within a supply chain to ensure efficient order processing, delivery, and customer satisfaction. Below is an overview of the key responsibilities, skills, and qualifications typically associated with the position.
1. Order Processing:
Receive, review, and process customer orders.
Ensure accuracy in order entries, confirmations, and modifications.
2. Logistics Coordination:
Arrange shipping and transportation of goods.
Monitor shipment schedules and ensure timely deliveries.
Coordinate with carriers, warehouses, and suppliers.
3. Inventory Management:
Track inventory levels to ensure stock availability for orders.
Collaborate with purchasing teams to replenish stock as needed.
4. Customer Communication:
Serve as a point of contact for order-related inquiries.
Provide updates on order status, delivery timelines, and potential delays.
5. Problem-Solving:
Address issues such as order discrepancies, shipping delays, or damaged goods.
Work with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and returns.
Generate reports on order trends, shipping performance, and logistics costs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
A minimum of two years experience as a Supply Chain Assistant or Coordinator for a US-based company.
A minimum of two years experience working with any ERP system like Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
Experienced in customer service and order entry.
Well-versed in shipping regulations and international logistics.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English required.
Typing speed of at least 50 Words Per Minute (WPM) with a minimum accuracy of 95%.
Willingness to work in the evening shift (starting from 6:00 PM Manila Time).
A stable fiber internet connection with a minimum speed of 100 Mbps (download and upload).
High-performance PC/Laptop with the following minimum specifications:
- Minimum of 6-core processors (2.5 GHz or higher).
- Minimum of 16GB installed Physical Memory.
- Minimum of 500GB SSD hard drive.
- Windows 10 or newer.
- Minimum of 2 Monitors.
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT) subscription.
