As a Supply Chain and Planning Group Manager under our Enterprise Applications Group, you will be responsible for leading the organization's supply chain planning transformation and digital enablement strategy through the effective implementation, optimization, and governance of enterprise planning solutions. This role partners with Supply Chain, Operations, Commercial, and Technology teams to drive end-to-end planning excellence across demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, S&OP, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP), while maximizing the value of SAP and advanced planning technologies to improve business performance and decision-making.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute the organization's supply chain planning and digital transformation strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the evolution of demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, and integrated business planning (IBP) processes across the enterprise.
  • Establish planning governance frameworks, standards, KPIs, and best practices to drive operational excellence.
  • Provide strategic direction on the adoption and optimization of advanced planning technologies and digital supply chain capabilities.

Supply Chain Planning Management

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of short, medium, and long-range demand forecasts.
  • Drive forecast accuracy improvements through data analytics, market intelligence, and collaborative planning processes.
  • Lead end-to-end Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) initiatives.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to align supply chain plans with commercial and operational strategies.
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels while balancing customer service, working capital, and operational efficiency objectives.

Supply Chain Technology & Transformation

  • Lead the implementation, enhancement, and governance of planning technologies including SAP S/4HANA, SAP APO, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, and related planning platforms.
  • Manage SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives and ensure seamless business process integration.
  • Drive system optimization, automation, and digitalization projects to improve planning effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology teams and external partners on solution design, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Evaluate emerging supply chain technologies and recommend innovative solutions to strengthen planning capabilities.

Analytics & Performance Management

  • Develop and monitor key supply chain performance metrics including forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, plan adherence, and supply chain costs.
  • Leverage data analytics and business intelligence tools to generate actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Conduct scenario planning, risk assessments, and business impact analyses to proactively address supply chain challenges.
  • Present performance reviews, strategic recommendations, and transformation updates to senior leadership.

People Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of planning professionals and subject matter experts.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Build organizational capabilities in advanced planning processes, supply chain technologies, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive talent development, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, or related discipline is an advantage.

Experience

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in Supply Chain Planning, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, or Supply Chain Transformation.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership or people management role overseeing planning teams and large-scale transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide planning processes, S&OP, and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Solid experience managing SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and transformation programs.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing and optimizing advanced planning platforms such as SAP APO, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, or similar solutions.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and stakeholder groups across Supply Chain, Commercial, Manufacturing, Finance, and IT functions.

Technical Competencies

  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain planning processes and best practices.
  • Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP APO, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, and related planning technologies.
  • Deep understanding of forecasting methodologies, inventory optimization, and demand management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with supply chain analytics, business intelligence, and digital transformation frameworks.
