Role Summary
The Supply Chain Analyst's scope of work will be responsible for approx. $63 million in inventory transactions at multiple locations across the U.S. This responsibility requires accurate historical data analysis, thorough compilation/analysis of current market data, and effective communication with suppliers to be successful. This is a critical role, interacting with domestic/international suppliers, Site Managers, Sales, Purchasing, as well as other internal corporate staff to ensure every Binswanger location is able to successfully serve the customer.
LOCATION: Must be residing in the Philippines – Remote.
ENVIRONMENT: Philippines and International Teams.

WORK SCHEDULE: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Central Standard Time (10:00 PM – 7:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

Essential Functions
- Support developing a centralized procurement program.
- Support implementation of ERP system.
- Some experience within Glass and Glazing is a plus.
- Confirming compliance with applicable policies, laws, and regulations is upheld.
- Solicit competitive bids and proposals in a manner consistent with all local, state, and federal regulations and association policies.
- Become a subject matter expert on procurement guidance on procurement matters.
- Partners with sales and operations to make forecasting and buying decisions for specific locations.
- Manage and analyze commercial and freight invoices.
- Analyze inventory levels and sales information to accurately forecast purchases.
- Identify potential shortages and present solutions to management.
- Make purchasing recommendations.
- Provide sales team and management with ETAs on urgent orders.
- Create and submit emergency purchase orders.
- Assist in other projects and tasks when needed.
- Follow procurement department metrics and standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising Management, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; alternatively, a minimum of one year of experience in a Buyer or similar role may be accepted instead of a degree.
- CPIM, CPM, or CSCP certification is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of building materials, specific to glass and glazing.
- Close attention to detail and proven organizational skills.
- Proven Negotiation skills.
- Displays exceptional math skills.
- Has excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Must have proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, as well as the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to travel as required.
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
