Supply Chain & Procurement Manager – Philippines
As part of its international expansion, AES is looking for a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager based in Manila, Philippines.
AES specializes in the maintenance, repair, and operational support of Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for airlines and airport operators. Our mission is to deliver reliable, safe and high-quality maintenance services that maximize equipment availability and operational performance across airports worldwide.
Following the launch of a major long-term contract in the Philippines, we are looking for a Supply Chain & Procurement Manager to lead all procurement, inventory management and logistics activities supporting our maintenance operations across the country.
Reporting directly to the Contract & Operations Manager, you will oversee the entire supply chain, from supplier management and purchasing strategy to inventory optimization and warehouse operations across multiple airport stations. You will play a critical role in ensuring parts availability while optimizing costs, improving supplier performance and supporting operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supplier Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with AES operational and financial objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery conditions and service agreements with suppliers.
- Build and expand a reliable network of local and international suppliers.
- Identify alternative sourcing solutions to improve competitiveness and supply continuity.
- Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with AES standards, policies and ethical business practices.
- Manage supplier relationships, contractual matters and dispute resolution.
Supply Chain & Inventory Management
- Develop supply planning strategies to ensure the timely availability of spare parts across all airport stations in the Philippines.
- Optimize inventory levels by balancing operational availability with inventory carrying costs.
- Implement automatic replenishment processes and inventory control procedures.
- Plan, supervise and reconcile inventory counts while analysing discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
- Reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop maintenance kits and predefined spare parts lists within the ERP system to support preventive maintenance and recurring technical operations.
- Ensure efficient logistics flows between suppliers, warehouses and operational sites.
Operational Leadership
- Lead, develop and support the Supply Chain team by promoting continuous learning and professional development.
- Conduct performance reviews, set objectives and identify training needs.
- Establish procurement and logistics policies, procedures and best practices across all operational sites.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, Finance and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless operational support.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with AES quality, safety and operational standards.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor inventory performance, procurement costs and supply chain KPIs.
- Identify opportunities to optimize logistics processes, reduce operational costs and improve service levels.
- Prepare regular activity and performance reports for senior management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives supporting the growth and operational efficiency of AES in the Philippines.
Candidate Profile
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or Inventory Management.
- Proven experience managing procurement activities and supplier relationships.
- Strong experience in warehouse management, inventory optimization and logistics operations.
- • Experience in supply chain management of automotive, industrial machinery, or mechanical spare parts.
- Experience within aviation, industrial maintenance, engineering services or technical environments would be highly desirable.
- Previous experience managing teams in a multi-site environment is an advantage.
Education
- Master's Degree or Engineering Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Languages
- Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory (minimum C1 level).
- Filipino/Tagalog would be considered an advantage.
