Supply Chain & Order Operations Lead

Arbor Home is a US B2B building-materials marketplace. Contractors, builders and property managers buy flooring, tile and building products from us; our suppliers ship those orders direct to the job site on LTL freight. We are a small, fast company, and we run most of the business on AI agents.

We are hiring one person to own our supply chain desk. If you are a buyer-planner, supply chain analyst or procurement specialist at a manufacturer or distributor today, and you want to run the whole desk instead of one slice of it, this is the job.

What you will own

• Placing purchase orders with suppliers and expediting them against promised ship dates.
• The open-order backlog: every order from PO to delivered, with dates that hold.
• Supplier performance: acknowledgments, lead times, backorders, discontinued items, allocation. You are the person suppliers hear from when a date slips.
• Freight: LTL bookings, tracking, delivery appointments, damage claims, proof of delivery.
• Exceptions between supplier and customer: shortages, damages, substitutions, dye lots, reroutes. You negotiate the fix on both sides, mostly by phone.
• Working with our AI agents: they draft the routine work; you review, correct and handle what they escalate.
• The reports: open-order aging, supplier on-time performance, at-risk orders. Excel first; Power BI or SQL if you have it.

You are probably a fit if

• You have 4+ years as a Buyer-Planner, Supply Chain Analyst, Procurement / Purchasing Specialist, Materials Planner or Expeditor at a manufacturer, distributor or engineering firm.
• You have grown at one employer: analyst to senior, buyer I to II, specialist to lead.
• You have placed POs, chased suppliers for ship dates, and fixed what went wrong when they slipped. Not just entered orders into a system.
• You use an ERP every day (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics or similar) and you are strong in Excel.
• You are comfortable on the phone with US suppliers, carriers and customers, in clear English.
• Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Business degree preferred.
• You are curious about AI tools, or already use them.

This is not

• A virtual-assistant, BPO, call-center or data-entry role.
• A role where a warehouse team fulfills and you watch a dashboard. Our suppliers ship; you make sure they do.

Details

• Full-time, remote from the Philippines. Hours 7:30am to 5:30pm US Pacific, Monday to Friday, plus Saturday coverage. This is a night shift on Manila time; please only apply if that works for you.
