Salary Range: 120,000 basic pay + up to 53,000 language allowance

The role
This role is critical in driving cost efficiencies, supplier performance, and value creation through effective sourcing strategies and stakeholder engagement across our AMERICAS, EMEA sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of indirect categories such as MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), PPE, tools, consumables, and facility services, combined with excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
Your Responsibilities
- Execute comprehensive sourcing strategies in alignment with Category Management objectives to consistently improve cost structures, product quality, and logistical performance.
- Direct the full supplier lifecycle by identifying, vetting, and onboarding partners while maintaining ongoing relationships to ensure they remain synchronized with corporate goals and compliance mandates.
- Spearhead formal negotiations and the development of contracts for projects valued up to $1M USD, focusing on securing advantageous commercial terms and implementing robust risk mitigation strategies.
- Perform detailed spend analysis to extract actionable insights from procurement data, focusing on the identification of cost-reduction opportunities, demand forecasting, and the streamlining of the supplier base.
- Foster collaborative partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders in operations and engineering to translate complex technical requirements into effective and timely procurement solutions.
- Maintain a high level of market awareness by monitoring global commodity pricing, industry trends, and potential supply chain disruptions to provide data-driven insights for sourcing decisions.
- Advance organizational efficiency by leading continuous improvement initiatives for procurement workflows, digital systems, and data reporting methodologies.
- Uphold the highest standards of organizational governance by ensuring all sourcing activities and vendor interactions strictly adhere to internal policies, ethical guidelines, and legal regulations.
What We're Looking For
- MUST be fluent in Korean language
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field (Masters or Supply Chain certification preferred).
- 5+ years of procurement experience, with demonstrated proficiencies for commercial negotiations with industrial indirect materials.
- Prior indirect sourcing experience in a global or multi-national industrial manufacturing firm
- Demonstrated commercial relationship management and supplier development skills
- Strong English language skills, both written and verbal
- Proven track record of delivering commercial value through negotiated sourcing and supplier management, including conducting RFPs.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g., SAP, SAC, Ariba, etc.) including PO creation (P2P), release and updating pricing info records and relevant data analysis and proficiency tools, i.e. Microsoft Office.
