The Sales Executive Supervisor oversees the performance of sales associates, ensuring targets are met, customer service standards are upheld, and promotional activities are executed effectively. They play a key role in motivating the team, analyzing sales trends, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Management
- Supervise daily sales operations across assigned retail sections.
- Monitor sales targets and implement strategies to achieve or exceed them.
- Analyze sales reports and recommend improvements.
Team Leadership
- Train, coach, and motivate sales associates to deliver excellent customer service.
- Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and evaluate staff performance.
- Provide feedback and corrective actions when necessary.
Customer Engagement
- Ensure staff assist customers effectively, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
- Handle escalated customer concerns and complaints.
- Promote loyalty programs and upselling opportunities.
Merchandising & Promotions
- Coordinate with store management to implement promotional campaigns.
- Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and attractive product displays.
Compliance & Reporting
- Enforce company policies, sales procedures, and audit requirements.
- Prepare and validate daily/weekly sales reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Retail Management.
- Experience: 35 years in retail sales, with at least 12 years in a supervisory role.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of POS systems, sales reporting tools, and merchandising.
- Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer service orientation.
