Job Description

The Sales Executive Supervisor oversees the performance of sales associates, ensuring targets are met, customer service standards are upheld, and promotional activities are executed effectively. They play a key role in motivating the team, analyzing sales trends, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management

  • Supervise daily sales operations across assigned retail sections.
  • Monitor sales targets and implement strategies to achieve or exceed them.
  • Analyze sales reports and recommend improvements.

Team Leadership

  • Train, coach, and motivate sales associates to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and evaluate staff performance.
  • Provide feedback and corrective actions when necessary.

Customer Engagement

  • Ensure staff assist customers effectively, providing product knowledge and recommendations.
  • Handle escalated customer concerns and complaints.
  • Promote loyalty programs and upselling opportunities.

Merchandising & Promotions

  • Coordinate with store management to implement promotional campaigns.
  • Ensure accurate pricing, signage, and attractive product displays.

Compliance & Reporting

  • Enforce company policies, sales procedures, and audit requirements.
  • Prepare and validate daily/weekly sales reports.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Retail Management.
  • Experience: 35 years in retail sales, with at least 12 years in a supervisory role.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of POS systems, sales reporting tools, and merchandising.
  • Soft Skills: Leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer service orientation.
