Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Supervisor – Regulatory to oversee the company's compliance with government regulations and licensing requirements. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely processing of permits, licenses, tax-related filings, and regulatory requirements across all business units while leading a team of compliance professionals and maintaining strong relationships with government agencies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax reports and regulatory filings.
- Oversee the processing, renewal, and maintenance of BIR, LGU, and other government permits and licenses required for business operations.
- Manage regulatory compliance activities for all stores, warehouses, and offices across the organization.
- Coordinate with government agencies and regulatory bodies regarding compliance requirements and business transactions.
- Maintain and organize corporate documents, tax payment records, permits, certificates, and other regulatory documents.
- Supervise, coach, and develop Compliance Specialists, including task allocation and performance management.
- Monitor compliance timelines and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
- Handle negotiations and discussions with regulatory agencies when necessary.
- Prepare reports and perform other compliance-related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Finance, Legal Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Philippine taxation, regulatory compliance, permits, and licensing.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience leading a team.
- Strong knowledge of BIR, SEC, LGU, and other government regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
- Experience in the retail industry is an advantage.
