Your Role
As a
KYC Team Lead, your primary responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership: Lead a small team of KYC Analysts responsible for collecting and reviewing documentation to meet Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements.
- Guidance & Training: Provide guidance, training, and technical assistance to KYC Analysts and other Maples Group team members on AML/KYC-related issues.
- Workflow Management: Assist with monitoring the team's workflow, ensuring deliverables are on track and completed in a timely manner.
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all applicable compliance standards and risk policies are strictly adhered to.
- Global Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with other members of the Maples Group, internal teams, clients, and external third parties across various international jurisdictions.
What You Need
Non-negotiables
- Bachelor's degree holder with 5–7 years of hands-on experience handling AML, KYC, or Compliance tasks.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High degree of attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency under high-volume pressures and tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft applications.
Preferred Skills/expertise
- Specific knowledge of Cayman Islands AML/KYC requirements and/or a recognized AML qualification.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to read and interpret complex legal/compliance documentation.
- Proactive mindset—self-motivated, able to work independently, and comfortable taking the initiative.
