We're looking for a detail-oriented and driven
Supervisor, Accounting to lead our accounting team in ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with standards, and efficient processes that support the company's operations. Reporting to the Manager, Accounting, this role is key in overseeing daily accounting activities, managing reporting requirements, and guiding a team of specialists and analysts.
What You Will Do
- Ensure that 1Aviation's Mission, Vision, and Values are achieved.
- Supervise accounts payable and general accounting functions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage invoicing, tracking of payments, and timely settlement of bills.
- Oversee preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
- Assist in the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments (Operations, HR, Management) on accounting-related matters.
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team to ensure high performance.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager, Accounting.
An Ideal Candidate Should Have
Educational Background & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any business-related course
- CPA license is a must
Experience & Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, cost accounting, and audit preparation
- At least 3–5 years of experience in accounting or finance, with some supervisory exposure preferred
- Proficiency in accounting systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
