About The Role

Our team in Limay, Bataan is seeking a full-time, permanent Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical Engineer with experience in a manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing regional maintenance management execution across a site, ensuring production continuity and adherence to quality standards. The role includes prioritizing maintenance notifications, seeking technical support for complex activities, developing and executing maintenance budgets, and implementing a continuous improvement pipeline.

What you will be doing

The Maintenance Supervisor - Electrical Engineer will specifically deliver the following within the scope of their discipline:

  • Executes the daily maintenance plan within the production cell(s) and responds to breakdowns to ensure production continuity.
  • Ensures work completed meets quality requirements and is executed within the standards provided by the Maintenance Engineering team.
  • Appropriately prioritizes all maintenance-related notifications in order of safety, environmental, quality, and then operational continuity in collaboration with the Production Superintendent and Shift Supervisors.
  • Seeks technical support as required from Technical and Maintenance Engineering teams for complex maintenance activities.
  • Develops and executes the product line maintenance budget on behalf of the PLM with support from the Maintenance Planning Superintendent.
  • Develops and implements the maintenance execution continuous improvement pipeline.
  • Ensures appropriate reporting is executed post-work completion to update records and outcomes.
  • Upon completion of work, the plant equipment is handed back to the Product Line team in a safe and tidy state, and PTW is signed off.
  • Conducts regular, scheduled, and unscheduled plant equipment and general inspections and formalizes outcomes and actions.
  • Maintains and operates the maintenance workshop to the required standards.
  • Manages overtime and related approvals.
  • Ensures an appropriately resourced team of qualified and trained maintenance technicians is in place to perform professional work as required.
  • Joins the Maintenance Superintendents CoP (Community of Practise) with the purpose of collaborating on best practices and the improvement agenda relevant to the position and its requirements.

What you will bring

  • A licensed Electrical Engineer by the Professional Regulations Commission.
  • Has a minimum of 6 years of experience practicing the profession and 3 years of experience as an engineering or maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing plant.
  • Must have proven knowledge and expertise in electrical systems and standards for both high and low-voltage installations, including applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with people across all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of PLCs, Total Productive Maintenance, OEE, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing, in general, is an advantage.
  • Must have high and undeterred regard for safety!
