Job Description
AT A GLANCE
The Demand Planning Officer is responsible for monitoring demand forecasting, supply ordering, ABC analysis, and replenishment strategies of the assigned brand.
YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY
Forecasting & Demand Analytics
- Supervise the preparation and maintenance of demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, seasonality, and business inputs.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and planning KPIs, identify forecast variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Review demand drivers, promotional activities, and new product launches to support accurate demand planning.
- Prepare and consolidate demand planning reports and analyses for management review.
- Coordinate with Merchandising, Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to validate demand assumptions and planning requirements.
Inventory Strategy & OTB / Buy Planning
- Supervise replenishment planning and inventory management activities to maintain target inventory levels and product availability.
- Monitor inventory health using safety stock, months of cover, ABC analysis, and inventory performance metrics.
- Identify potential stockouts, excess inventory, and slow-moving items, and recommend appropriate replenishment actions.
- Support Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning and inventory allocation activities for assigned brands or categories.
- Ensure planning parameters and replenishment policies are consistently implemented.
S&OP Facilitation & Alignment
- Coordinate Demand Review and Inventory Review activities to support alignment between demand and supply plans.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Supply Planning, Logistics, Finance, and other stakeholders to address planning issues and operational risks.
- Escalate significant forecast, inventory, and supply concerns and recommend mitigation plans.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, inventory performance, and planning processes.
- Supervise, coach, and provide day-to-day guidance to the Demand Planning team to ensure timely and accurate execution of planning activities

YOUR TALENT
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or related field
- At least 1 year of experience in demand forecasting and planning
- Strong knowledge of demand forecasting, replenishment planning, inventory management, and forecasting methodologies.
- Experience in inventory planning concepts such as Open-to-Buy (OTB), safety stock, ABC analysis, inventory turnover, months of cover, and replenishment planning.
- Experience working with ERP systems, planning systems, or inventory management tools; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into planning decisions.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proven ability to supervise teams, prioritize multiple planning activities, and meet business deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
