AT A GLANCE
The Demand Planning Assistant Manager is responsible for managing demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment activities to ensure optimal product availability and inventory health. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve forecast accuracy, support inventory investment decisions, and drive alignment between demand and supply plans.
YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY
Forecasting & Demand Analytics
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, seasonality, and business insights.
- Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, analyze forecast variances, and recommend corrective actions to improve planning performance.
- Review demand drivers, promotional activities, and new product launches to ensure accurate demand projections.
- Prepare demand planning reports, KPIs, and analyses to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate demand assumptions and planning inputs.
Inventory Strategy & OTB / Buy Planning
- Develop replenishment plans and inventory strategies that balance product availability with inventory investment objectives.
- Manage Open-to-Buy (OTB) planning, inventory allocation, and replenishment activities for assigned brands or categories.
- Monitor inventory health, including safety stock, months of cover, ABC analysis, stock availability, and slow-moving inventory.
- Recommend inventory actions to minimize stockouts, excess inventory, and aging stock while supporting sales and financial targets.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize inventory productivity and replenishment processes.
S&OP Facilitation & Alignment
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve planning issues and supply risks.
- Monitor planning performance and recommend process improvements to enhance forecast accuracy and replenishment effectiveness.
- Support the implementation of planning policies, systems, and best practices to strengthen planning capabilities.
- Lead, coach, and provide day-to-day guidance to the Demand Planning team to ensure timely and accurate execution of planning activities.

YOUR TALENT
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in demand forecasting and planning, preferably with experience in retail.
- Good organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage deadlines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, structured environment
