Substation Secondary & Protection Design Engineer

We are looking for a Substation Secondary & Protection Design Engineer to join our Energy group. This role contributes to the delivery of highquality projects for internal, existing, and new clients, while developing commercial awareness and supporting the technical growth of the team.

What You'll Do:

• Perform secondary substation protection and control engineering design, including design calculations, technical analysis, and application of engineering standards and best practices
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables, such as protection and control schematics, wiring diagrams, technical reports, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality of outputs
• Support the delivery of highquality substation projects for internal and external clients, working within agreed scope, schedule, and budget

What You Bring:

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant professional experience in substation secondary and protection engineering, gained within consulting, utility, or power/energy project environments
• Proven experience delivering secondary substation protection and control design, including engineering calculations, technical analysis, and preparation of design documentation (drawings, reports, specifications)
• Consulting experience is a plus, especially in: Preparing technical reports, Writing and winning proposals, and client engagement and stakeholder coordination
• Proven resiliency in managing complex technical deliverables and timelines.
