Finance Intern – The Bistro Group

Job Summary:

The Finance Intern will assist the Finance team with daily financial and accounting activities, data processing, documentation, and other administrative tasks while gaining practical experience in the F&B industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in encoding and organizing financial data and records.
• Support the preparation and filing of financial documents.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
• Help verify invoices, receipts, and other supporting documents.
• Assist in reconciliation and checking of financial transactions.
• Prepare basic reports, schedules, and spreadsheets as assigned.
• Assist in monitoring and organizing financial records and files.
• Coordinate with other departments regarding finance-related documents and requirements.
• Perform other finance-related administrative and ad hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management Accounting, or a related course.
• Preferably required to complete an internship/OJT as part of the academic curriculum.
• Basic knowledge of accounting and finance principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willing to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Can handle confidential information with professionalism.
