Student Intern (Industrial Engineer)

At Shakey's Pizza Asia Ventures, Inc., we provide comprehensive on-the-job training programs designed to give students hands-on exposure to a real corporate environment. Our internship program helps trainees develop practical skills, discover their strengths, and prepare for their future professional careers.

We are looking for energetic, professional, and eager-to-learn interns who are ready to gain valuable industry experience. Selected candidates will be assigned to either the Restaurant Systems Department or the Research and Development Department.

Internship allowance will be provided for qualified candidates.

Available Internship Roles:

1. Industrial Engineering Intern

Department: Restaurant Systems

Key Learning Areas and Exposure:

• Process Mapping and Improvement
• Time and Motion Study
• Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Computation
• Operational Excellence Mini Projects, including:
• Template Creation
• Calculator Development
• Store Station Organization
• 3D Simulated Drawings
• Store Flow Analysis
• Data Analysis

2. Food Technology Intern

Department: Research and Development

Key Learning Areas and Exposure:

• Process Quality Review
• Documentation and Compliance
• Food Safety Principles
• HACCP Implementation and Review
• Updated Food Handling Practices

Qualifications

• Strong communication and writing skills
• Highly motivated and able to work independently
• Willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Can start by May 2026
• Willing to do fieldwork if needed

Internship Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an internship program required by your college or university
• Able to provide internship-related documents such as:
• Memorandum of Agreement (MOA)
• Endorsement Letter
• Internship Report Requirements
• Other school-required documentation
• Amenable to work onsite
• Flexible with working schedules (Dayshift Office Hours)
