Position Overview
This role focuses on site quality assurance for horizontal infrastructure, clubhouse amenities, resort structures, and coastal build-outs. Ensuring all construction strictly complies with approved plans, engineering standards, and environmental requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Site Inspection & Quality Control
- Conduct pre-pour and pre-form closure inspections for horizontal works (roadways, drainage, utility corridors) and structural foundations (clubhouse, beach amenities, retaining walls).
- Ensure all works align with approved structural plans, technical specifications, and soil/coastal structural guidelines.
- Issue formal notices for non-conformance and monitor prompt corrective actions by contractors.
Plan Examination & Technical Support
- Examine submitted civil/structural plans, permit documents, and shop drawings for technical compliance.
- Support the Construction Manager in evaluating structural and civil design matters specific to horizontal land development and resort facilities.
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track site structural progress across various resort zones and prepare detailed weekly reports.
- Flag structural risks related to soil conditions, coastal exposure, or slope stability early to prevent delays.
General Duties
- Coordinate closely with site developers, architects, and MEP teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform other civil/structural engineering duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Licensure: Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC registered).
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in structural inspection or site supervision, preferably with exposure to horizontal development, resorts, land development, or coastal structures.
- Location Preference: Resident of or willing to work on-site in Lian, Batangas.
- Skills: Proficiency in reading structural/civil plans, knowledge of soil/concrete standards, and basic CAD and MS Office skills.
