Roles & Responsibilities
- CAD drafting and detailing and knowledge on BIM modelling for C&S discipline.
- Work under the direction of Design Engineer and CAD/BIM Job Captain.
- Ensure construction documents accuracy based on the updated drawings of other disciplines.
- Able to Collaborate and Coordinate with other disciplines design changes and model challenges.
- Strictly follow Organization BIM content standards and development procedures.
- Print drawing sets for professional team and participate in discipline reviews.
- Prepare own discipline model and/or content for Coordination Meetings.
- Able to export DWF and other formats for collaboration internally and externally.
- High level of communication and good writing skills.
- Leveraging AutoCAD/BIM software and tools as a methodology to coordinate design documentation.
Software Expectations
- Must be well-versed and knowledgeable on BIM platform such as Autodesk Revit.
- Must be well-versed in AutoCAD for drafting, detailing, drawing linkage and clean up.
- Must be knowledgeable in Design Review platform such as Autodesk Navisworks for collaboration with professional staff.
- General understanding of interoperability between softwares used to accomplish own discipline tasks.
