About The Client (AU)
Over the last 3 decades, we have played a pivotal role in the advancement of the Macarthur and Southern Highlands regions, along with various other locations throughout Australia.
Our portfolio boasts a wide array of projects, encompassing residential, industrial, and commercial endeavors.
Our expertise lies in house slab design, steel beam framing, and implementing drainage solutions to mitigate flood risks. In the realm of commercial ventures, we offer comprehensive design services, addressing everything from building structure to fire safety systems.
Responsibilities
- Creating detailed structural and civil drawings and plans using drafting software
- Collaborating with architects and engineers to understand the requirements of a project and to integrate those requirements into design documents.
- Preparing single and multi-unit stormwater drainage plans
- Preparing site design plans, including levels, site grades / falls and generation of 3D design tins
- Revising and updating existing drawings to reflect design changes and modifications as directed by the engineer or project manager.
- Preparing and reviewing structural details such as beam sizes, column sizes, and connection details for construction projects.
- Assisting in the development of project timelines and drafting schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Coordinating with other drafters and team members to ensure consistency and accuracy across multiple sets of plans.
- Participating in project meetings to discuss design issues, progress, and challenges with the project team.
- Maintaining an organized archive of drawings, reference materials, and project documentation for future reference and compliance purposes.
Required Skills
- AutoCAD 2D (minimum) and AutoCAD Civil 3D or 12D Model (Ideal)
- Revit (ideal)
- Australian Standards - Slab Design, Stormwater, Drainage, Timber Framing Code
- 5+ years as a structural / civil draftperson - development of drainage plans. Ideally Australian experience
- Experience with full site civil development design
Nice to have
- Experience with detailing steel and timber connections a bonus
- Experience with commercial / industrial projects a bonus
- Experience with slab and foundation design and detailing a bonus
Work Schedule (Dayshift)
- Monday to Friday 8AM-5PM; Manila Time (Flexible)
Work Setup (WFH)
- Permanent Homebased
- Candidate's are expected to have a conducive (quiet, distraction-free) dedicated workspace
- Equipment will be provided by the company
- Hired staff is required to have a stable and reliable internet connection with at least 20MBPS for both download AND upload speed.
