About The Team

The Strategy teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.

Operating with greater independence than an Analyst, you will be expected to diagnose problems, structure the approach, build the models, and drive cross-functional alignment without requiring step-by-step guidance. You will also support junior team members by reviewing work and helping them structure problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own workstream execution from planning through to launch
  • Diagnose and structure problems end-to-end: Independently scope the landscape, identify supply-demand gaps, and surface constraints before any plan is drawn
  • Build and maintain planning models: Develop ADO forecasts, city rollout plans, ramp-up models, commercial frameworks, and SOP templates
  • Drive PMO and cross-functional coordination: Run weekly status tracking, manage risks and blockers, and ensure alignment across local and regional stakeholders through to go-live and performance review
  • Analyze performance and close the loop: Monitor KPIs vs. targets, conduct root cause analysis on gaps, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for operations and leadership
  • Prepare structured outputs for senior stakeholders: Produce clear, decision-ready reports, proposals, and leadership decks that communicate progress, risks, and recommendations concisely
  • Support and guide analysts: Review work, help structure problems, and act as a point of reference for junior team members

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Engineering or related fields
  • Drives problem-solving with a sense of accountability and execution
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and fast-paced environments
  • Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations strategy, logistics, e-commerce, analytics, or a related field is preferred
