Strategy Planning & Governance Manager

RAFI is looking for a Manager for Strategy Planning and Governance. You will lead RAFI's strategy planning and governance processes, ensuring enterprise priorities are aligned and translated into actionable plans. Provide strategic insights and decision support to leadership through cross-functional planning, governance, and performance alignment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning, strategy refresh, and management review processes.

• Develop and improve strategy and governance frameworks, planning tools, and review processes.

• Facilitate cross-functional planning and leadership discussions.

• Review unit plans, scorecards, and initiatives for strategic alignment.

• Prepare executive-level strategy papers, briefs, and decision-support materials.

• Analyze strategic issues, risks, opportunities, and trade-offs.

• Coordinate alignment across strategy, budget, performance, portfolio, and risk.

• Track strategic decisions, action items, and follow-through.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Strategy, Business, Management, Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in strategy, corporate planning, governance, organizational performance, consulting, transformation, or complex cross-functional work.

• 3–5 years of experience supporting senior leaders, strategic planning, governance, and executive decision-making.

• Strong strategic thinking, analytical, facilitation, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
