Strategy and M&A Consultant (Japanese Bilingual)

As the Japanese office of KPMG Global Strategy Group, you will be responsible for developing management and business strategies, conducting BDD (Business Due Diligence) in M&A deals, and supporting business plan development. Furthermore, you will support the enhancement of corporate value for acquired companies (post-acquisition, pre-sale, and restructuring/re-growth phases) from the perspectives of increasing sales, reducing costs, and improving cash flow.

A. Planning of management and business strategies

B. Support for the pre-deal and in-deal phases of M&A deals

C. Planning of value creation strategies and ongoing support for strategy implementation

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience in one or more of the categories A, B, and C described in the job description In addition to the above, approximately 3 years or more of practical experience in the following roles:

• Business strategy, M&A strategy planning and implementation support at a consulting firm (experience at a strategic consulting firm is a plus)
• Transaction advice, corporate transformation, corporate restructuring, PMI (business integration), etc. at an advisory firm
• Bachelor's degree or higher (MBA holders are a plus)
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel)
• Strong logical thinking ability, communication skills, and teamwork skills
• N3/N2/N1 Certified
