About The Role
The Strategist, RevOps Platform is responsible for providing RevOps support to 2X's clients to help them maximize the value of their data, tech platforms, and analytics. The Analyst is responsible for implementing the business rules and requirements of integrated revenue programs as outlined by the RevOps Strategy and Integrated Growth Strategy groups, and monitoring and maintaining these technical implementations over time. The Analyst is also responsible for evaluating client data to inform strategy in partnership with RevOps strategists, as well as reporting on program performance and revenue impact for client programs. The Analyst will also complete other tasks, especially related to MarTech/SalesTech/AdTech platforms and client data analyses, including assessing needs, designing execution plans, and troubleshooting issues or questions that arise. The Analyst will be expected to have deep proficiency in the platforms used most by our agency and clients and an analytical and organized approach.
This position reports to the VP of RevOps and works closely with the RevOps Strategy and Integrated Growth Strategy groups to ensure full alignment on program requirements and implementation plans. This position may also work directly with clients. This position has no direct reports.
Senior Distinction: Able to perform all duties and manage all deliverables at a high level of quality without another RevOps team member on the account.
Job Responsibilities
The RevOps Platforms Analyst should be able to do / accomplish the following without supervision:
1. Understand and explain clearly the roles and functionality of key marketing and sales platform types – such as Marketing Automation Platforms (MAPs), Customer Relationship Management platforms (CRMs), Sales Engagement Platforms (SEPs), Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Account Based (AB) platforms, etc.
2. Understand and explain clearly the basics of data and relational databases –including relational table structures, field data types, data hygiene and normalization, etc.
3. Implement marketing and sales programs in client systems with accuracy and clarity, document the implementations, and ensure that program reporting metrics can be easily obtained.
4. Quickly learn and onboard to any sales and marketing technology platform through formal training, shadowing, and/or hands-on tinkering.
5. Follow and champion production processes, including peer QA and client review.
6. Track time daily within the approved time-tracking system, with appropriate coding and notes.
The RevOps Platform Analyst should be able to do/accomplish the following under supervision by the VP of RevOps or IGS Account Director: (Senior Distinction: Able to own these responsibilities without another RevOps Platforms group member on the account.)
1. Understand and explain clearly our point of view on RevOps, revenue growth, and go-to-market strategies.
2. Understand, research, and accurately answer complex questions from colleagues and clients regarding RevOps technology, data, or analytics.
3. Understand, explain, and document the RevOps steps required to execute an integrated revenue program.
4. Break down assigned RevOps deliverables into clear tasks, communicate those tasks to the Project Manager, and execute those tasks on time, on budget, and at a high level of quality.
5. Evaluate RevOps data in spreadsheets, databases, analytics platforms, and visualization platforms to identify patterns, segmentations, risks, opportunities, program impact, and more.
6. Assess technical specifications for executing approved integrated revenue programs and identify and communicate concerns, gaps in best practices, or red flags to appropriate team members.
7. Audit and evaluate advanced strategies related to MAPs, CRMs, SEPs, CDPs, etc – such as scoring, lifecycle, routing/assignment, attribution, sales compensation, and related areas.
8. Manage and maintain reports, dashboards, and forecasts that combine data from across the RevOps landscape.
9. Champion our strategic point-of-view, production processes, and RevOps disciplines within assigned account teams.
10. Participate in technical QA of RevOps deliverables (including those from other RevOps groups, as well as those built by client).
Job Qualifications
Education and Skills
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, business, communications, computer science, or related field.
• Strong MarTech/SalesTech/AdTech skills, preferably with platform certifications at expert level in at least one MAP, one CRM, and one AB/AdTech platform.
• Experience with consulting skills.
Experience
• Required: 10+ years of hands-on Oracle Eloqua experience.
• Desired: 10+ years experience at marketing agency, sales development firm, software development shop, or related SaaS vendor.
• Desired: Experience implementing MAP, CRM, CDP, or related platforms.
• Desired: Experience as supervisor or team lead for marketing operations production.
