Job Description:
Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development
- Identify and onboard suppliers that meet business needs in terms of cost, quality, and capability
- Develop sourcing strategies that improve supplier mix, resilience, and localization of supply
- Evaluate and challenge existing supplier base to reduce dependency and improve performance
Cost & TCO Optimization
- Assess sourcing decisions using total cost of ownership (TCO) including logistics, quality risks, and operational impact
- Review and challenge product specifications to identify cost engineering and standardization opportunities
- Drive initiatives that deliver sustainable cost savings beyond price reductions
Data & Procurement Analytics
- . Build dashboards and analysis to track:
- sourcing savings and cost avoidance
- supplier performance (quality, delivery, compliance)
- procurement inefficiencies and risk exposure
- market and spend trends
- Translate data into actionable sourcing insights and recommendations
Process Improvement
- Identify gaps in current procurement and sourcing processes and propose improvements
- Support initiatives to enhance sourcing governance and procurement efficiency
- Evaluate sourcing practices to ensure right specification, right supplier, right cost
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Economics, or related field
- 2-5 years experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or analytics roles
- Strong analytical and commercial thinking
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
- Comfortable working with data and influencing stakeholders
- High ownership, proactive, and improvement-oriented mindset
- Thinks beyond price and focuses on total value and system optimization
- Strong in data-driven decision making
- Continuously questions and improves sourcing practices
- Proactive, dependable, and execution-focused
