We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiations for outsourced services and operational requirements.
This role works closely with internal stakeholders to develop sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, and ensure cost efficiency while maintaining service quality.
The position also plays a key role in driving savings initiatives, managing high-value contracts, and improving procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead sourcing initiatives for outsourced services, ensuring competitive pricing and quality delivery.
- Manage procurement activities including supplier evaluation, bidding processes, and contract negotiations.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve procurement efficiency.
Vendor Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and service providers.
- Manage preferred supplier programs including supplier selection, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Organize supplier engagement activities to strengthen partnerships and collaboration.
Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for high-value goods and services.
- Monitor contract lifecycle including renewals, extensions, and terminations.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with internal teams, operational stakeholders, and regional/global support teams to align procurement strategies.
- Provide guidance to business units on procurement processes and best practices.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Support the implementation and use of procurement tools and systems to improve efficiency and transparency.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, policies, and standards.
Leadership & Support
- Provide guidance and mentoring to team members when needed.
- Help resolve complex operational or supplier-related issues.
- Contribute to initiatives that improve procurement value and operational performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field (preferred).
- Around 58 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor management.
- Experience managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and handling sourcing processes.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience using procurement or sourcing systems is an advantage.
