As a Strategic Sourcing Lead, you will be directly accountable for the successful implementation and execution of strategic sourcing and contracting strategies, focusing heavily on Power Generation requirements. You will create competitive advantages through first cost and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reductions while improving reliability and integration. You will work closely with the SCM Group, technical, legal, and risk teams, as well as various business units, to deliver results, create positive community impact, and develop your skills in a supportive, purpose-driven environment.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Strategic Sourcing Formulation: Partner with proponents and analyze complex transactions, long lead times, and available data to identify savings opportunities, build vendor sourcing strategies, and establish robust procurement plans.
- Contract and RFP Execution: Draft bidding documents, evaluate proposals across technical and commercial requirements (First Cost, TCO, and viability), build and run negotiation strategies, and secure executive approval for sourcing projects.
- Contract Administration & Alignment: Draft and execute supply and service contracts alongside legal and technical teams, facilitate compliance with regulatory baselines, and host contract roll-outs to ensure smooth project implementation.
- Vendor & Supply Chain Governance: Manage supplier relationships, execute performance reviews against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), conduct supply chain risk assessments to ensure continuity of supply, and track total savings data.

- Demonstrates exceptional leadership in high-value negotiations and contract packaging, aligning closely with cross-functional experts like legal, finance, and risk.
- Possesses advanced capability in commercial analysis, evaluating Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) reductions, and assessing contract risk profiles.
- Exhibits strong relationship-building skills to manage stakeholder alignment, resolve vendor delivery/payment gaps, and champion cost-reduction adoptions.
- Displays excellent strategic agility, capable of driving long-term and short-term procurement strategies to support operational goals.
What You Will Need:
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Mid-to-senior level professional experience directly executing strategic sourcing, commercial bidding, and contract management pipelines.
- Demonstrated experience handling complex commercial negotiations, running large-scale RFP processes, and mitigating heavy supply chain risks.
Technical / Functional Skills:
- Proficiency in the complete Request for Proposal (RFP) lifecycle, contract structuring, and legal/regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Strong skills in commercial modeling (First Cost and Total Cost of Ownership analysis), vendor performance tracking, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) governance.
