The Strategic Sourcing Associate is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring suppliers, vendors, and materials to support Sunnies Face's business operations, retail execution, and events. This includes assisting with procurement for non-trade and trade items, as well as coordinating with event vendors for marketing activations, store launches, and brand initiatives. The role requires strong organizational skills, marketing awareness, and project management experience to effectively support timelines, budgets, and cross-team coordination.
Sourcing & Supplier Management
- Assist in identifying, evaluating, and onboarding suppliers/vendors for events, marketing activations, and brand projects.
- Support sourcing of non-trade items (e.g., packaging, office supplies, store fixtures) and trade items in collaboration with product development, merchandising, and marketing teams.
- Conduct supplier research, cost benchmarking, and quality checks.
- Build and maintain relationships with reliable, cost-effective suppliers.
Purchasing & Order Management
- Prepare and process purchase requests and purchase orders for both non-trade and trade items.
- Monitor order status, supplier lead times, and delivery schedules to support campaign and event timelines.
- Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and event project teams for delivery confirmation and resolution of issues.
Project Support & Coordination
- Provide project management support by tracking event procurement timelines, deliverables, and budgets.
- Assist marketing and events teams in coordinating supplier requirements, project schedules, and post-event evaluations.
- Ensure alignment of procurement activities with project milestones.
Cost & Contract Negotiation
- Support cost negotiations with suppliers and event vendors to secure favorable terms.
- Assist in reviewing supplier agreements and service level agreements (SLAs).
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and project documentation.
- Generate status updates and reports on supplier performance, event procurement progress, and cost savings.
Compliance & Process Improvement
- Follow procurement policies, approval workflows, and compliance standards.
- Suggest improvements to streamline vendor sourcing and project-related procurement processes.
YOUR TALENT
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor coordination
- Experience with Cosmetics Industry
- Exposure to project management (tracking timelines, coordinating deliverables, assisting with budgets).
- Knowledge of supplier development, product sourcing, and cost negotiation.
- Exposure to Product Development
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with procurement systems or ERPs is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
