Here's the impact you'll make and what we'll accomplish together You have a proven track record in bringing operational reporting leadership to a reporting practice. You will position yourself as a trusted partner with key stakeholders and work with them to define the roadmap of information that will enable their decision making. You will develop reporting solutions via automation across various platform tools like Tableau, Domo and Google Looker, etc. You have experience with agile ways of working and a bias for action, which breaks down barriers and gets results fast. You will drive the strategy for operational reporting, driving financial impact solutions. You will drive reporting and insights which are timely, accurate, and outcomes-based, in order to drive the right decisions for TELUS Digital.

Here's how you'll need the support of our Manager, Business Analysis, your primary responsibilities will be:

• Lead timely and actionable reporting and insights to support decision making across the organization and develop and drive innovative data models and trend analysis techniques to identify potential business opportunities and challenges
• Translate business needs into actionable insights, data, and reports and successfully identify, develop and implement process & efficiency initiatives
• By working collaboratively with VP, Director and Manager Stakeholder teams providing advice and clarity on their data needs and to ensure their decision making is enabled in a timely manner
• Improve forecasting through a driver based forecasting model
• Support month end activities to report on results including identification of the root cause of KPI variances & actions required

Hiring Requirements:

• Strong analytical acumen to differentiate and translate business needs into working requirements for data and pipeline development
• Confidence to engage a broad set of stakeholders and collaborate with all levels of the leadership team
• Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL), as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
• Expert ability to break down / decompose complex data sets and ambiguous problems to tell meaningful business stories and to effectively communicate complex financial analysis or results to senior leadership
• You have outstanding financial modeling skills, with Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions
• 3-5 years of relevant analytical experience in business analysis, financial planning and analysis or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of business models, measures, metrics, and financial KPIs
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (financial modeling) / Google sheets
