Store Supervisor

Ace Hardware Phils., Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor to join our team in SM City Cebu Department Store (DS Cebu). This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our retail store.

As Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing store activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high operational standards. This role is essential to driving sales performance, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction within our store environment.

Key responsibilities

1. Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
2. Supervise and coordinate store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
3. Monitor and maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and merchandise presentation standards
4. Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock checks
5. Address customer concerns and resolve complaints in a professional and timely manner
6. Assist in achieving sales targets and promoting store promotions to customers
7. Conduct staff briefings and communicate company updates and initiatives to the team
8. Report on store performance metrics and provide feedback to management
9. Support the Store Manager in implementing merchandising and visual display strategies

1. Proven experience in retail store supervision or similar management role within the retail sector
2. Strong leadership and team management capabilities with the ability to motivate and develop staff
3. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer interactions professionally
4. Knowledge of retail operations, including inventory management and point-of-sale systems
5. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively
6. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
7. Problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making abilities
8. Communication skills that are clear, concise, and effective at all organizational levels
9. Physical capability to perform store duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting merchandise
10. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays as required
11. Willing to work at SM City Cebu Department Store (DS Cebu).
